I just finished calculating the number of addresses that have claimed the Monad airdrop:
- 0–2K MON – 6,085 addresses (9.68M MON)
- 2K–5K MON – 9,994 addresses (41.18M MON)
- 5K–10K MON – 14,943 addresses (105.05M MON)
- 10K–20K MON – 20,935 addresses (284.84M MON)
- 20K–50K MON – 15,089 addresses (483.62M MON)
- 50K–100K MON – 4,544 addresses (343.22M MON)
- 100K+ MON – 4,431 addresses (2,062.97M MON)
A total of 76,021 wallets have claimed out of 289K eligible, and 3.3% of the Monad supply (3.3B) has been allocated for the airdrop.
Monad, on its first mainnet day, is already supported by 75+ ecosystem projects, which is a much stronger start compared to SUI back then. Even though many in the community feel disappointed by the airdrop, it’s important to note that 38% of the supply is allocated for ecosystem development, meaning there will be many future incentives coming from the Monad ecosystem.
