While everything is important, I want to highlight and emphasize these points. - The lack of trust is the way to achieve credible neutrality. Without it, the system becomes one that relies on intermediaries. - We write code so that power cannot hide behind policies. - Ethereum wasn't created to make finance efficient or applications convenient. It was created to liberate people—to empower anyone, anywhere, to coordinate without permission and without trusting anyone who can't be held accountable. - As we build new layers, new accounts, and new ways to interact, we must preserve the properties that made Ethereum matter: Users initiate their own actions. Anyone can verify and participate. No one can be silently excluded. The logic lives in the code, not in trust contracts. Inclusion depends on incentives, not reputation or permission. -We prioritize the cost of opening up over the convenience of control.
