3 stupidly easy and weird steps to trick your brain to crave hard work:
step 1: pretend to be disciplined.
i know it sounds strange but when you act like the person you want to be, your brain actually starts wiring itself to match.
it doesn't care if you feel like a fraud doing it, it only cares that you showed up
start here.
step 2: change how you talk.
when you say "i'm such a undisciplined or unhappy person" your brain believes it.
start saying: "im someone who's working on self mastering discipline
both might be true, but one one makes your brain rise to that standard
step 3: use mornings wisely
the first thing you do each morning trains your brain what to crave that day
if you grab your phone, you wire it to chase distraction, always chasing quick dopamine.
but if you start with something that requires effort, like excersise or deep work, you wire it to crave progress
